By the mid-1930’s the enormously popular American radio shows featured all the popular genres of American entertainment: comedy, drama, horror, mystery, romance and music. Among the best-known performers were comedians: Jack Benny, Burns and Allen, Amos and Andy, Abbott and Costello, Fibber McGee and Molly. In this joyous program, MMSC’s favorite performers will recreate the shows, routines and personalities of the golden age of radio.
MMSC’s Celebration of Old Time Radio - Part 1 in December 2004 was such a success that we have decided to add a second part to our repetoire. Here is Celebration of Old Time Radio - Part 2 - with all new scripts, plots and live sound effects. Read by some of your MMSC favorites including Jack Kroll, Christine Crawfis, Douglas and Julie Woolley, Gerry Brooks, Greg Bray, Heather Berry, Rick Meyer, and MMSC newcomer Michael Frohnhoefer. What fun!
